Introduced by Leo Fender in 1951, the Telecaster was one of the first successful solid-body electric guitars, and it remains one of the most iconic ever made. Its simple design, bright twang and versatility have shaped the sound of country, rock and blues for 75 years. The design has changed remarkably little since. This officially licensed legal tender guitar pick celebrates the Telecaster's 75th anniversary in 5g of 999.9 fine gold. The reverse features the Fender® logo and the inscription "75th Anniversary TELECASTER 1951 • 2026." The obverse carries the Public Seal of Niue, the $20 denomination, the 2026 date, weight, purity and an individual serial number. It has a mirror-like proof-like finish, is encapsulated for protection, and is presented in a special commemorative gift box. Only 4,000 have been minted worldwide.
